Lonesome Dove First Read Through (with SPOILERS)

Since we were facing a 2,000 mile drive one way crossing the middle of the US to reach the Western region, I proposed to my husband that we listen to Lonesome Dove together.

I've recorded my thoughts as we read it through, so be warned! THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS VIDEO.

I have tried to avoid some of the bigger spoilers so you will still have a lot of surprises and twists if you've never read the book and decide to watch this video in advance of picking it up.

Lonesome Dove is divided into three parts with part 2 being the largest section so I gave my thoughts at the 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% completion marks.
