Literary Apothecary: Around the World With Fantasy

Here is a new installment of my LITERARY APOTHECARY series, which is a video series about my recommendations for specific genres and categories of books. This week, we are focusing on "Fantasy Around the World" with the idea that if you're starting out with fantasy or want to get back into the fantasy genre, these book choices would allow you to also possibly "travel" to other lands! Here are my recommendations for fantasy novels that will take you around the world:

China - Daughter of the Moon Goddess by Sue Lynn Tan

Korea - Girl Beneath the Sea by Axie Oh

Japan - Six Crimson Cranes by Elizabeth Lim

Russia - Witch & the Tsar by Olesya Gilmore

Russia - Winternight Trilogy by Katherine Arden

France - Queen's Rising and Queen’s Resistance by Rebecca Ross

Celtic - Elements of Cadence by Rebecca Ross

West Africa - Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko

India - Goddess of the River by Vaishnavi Patel

Middle East - The Adventures of Amina al-Sarafi by Shannon Chakraborty

Middle East - Spice Road by Maiya Ibrahim
